Cameron County Fire Update

The police and fire crews in Cameron County are tipping their hats off to a local neighbor who saved a woman's life from an apartment fire in Emporium on Thursday morning. Officials say Andrew Zimmer saw smoke coming from the Allegheny Avenue house when he got word that a bedridden woman who was on a ventilator was unable to get out. That is when Zimmer ran through the door and got the woman out.
