The gas prices are on the rise.  A national survey reports that the nationwide average price for regular is now three dollars and thirty two cents a gallon.  That is up about seven cents since the last survey released on December 21^st.  The lowest average price is in Salt Lake City, where a gallon is going for two dollars and seventy six cents.  Gas prices are highest in Long Island, New York with an average cost of three dollars and seventy five cents a gallon.
