Former Blair Police Officer Convicted

A former Altoona Police Officer accused of beating up another man during a bar brawl has been found guilty. A jury convicted Duane Eichenlaub of aggravated assault late Thursday afternoon. Eichenlaub along with another former Police Officer beat up a man in the restroom of Pellegrine's Lounge because he thought the man inappropriately touched his wife. A bystander was in the bathroom and tried to stop the fighting. He was beaten too and suffered serious injuries.
