A local school district is hiring a Police Officer for security at the school.  The Somerset Daily American reports Windber is hiring a Paint Township Police Officer to fill the position.  The district Superintendent said the shooting in Connecticut prompted them to re-evaluate their security measures.  The position will cost the district about 50 thousand dollars a year.
