Families that may be struggling to put food on the table are getting some extra help from St. Vincent De Paul.  Volunteers say they had a great turnout at the Giant Eagle in Logan Town Centre.  Numbers of families per year and people per day has consistently grown each year.  Volunteers have given groceries to nearly 50 percent of man, woman and child in Altoona just in 2012.  Currently there is about 44 people volunteering time to St Vincent De Paul Food Pantry.
