A plea agreement reached in an incident more than two years ago has police officials in Somerset County upset. Brett Marsh plead guilty to running over a police officer with an ATV. In the deal, Marsh was able to avoid trial on felony charges by pleading to lesser charges. The union representing the injured officer is upset that the Somerset County District Attorney's Office did not reach out to the victim before making the deal. We talked to the District Attorney who tells you she was never contacted by the victim. She says her assistant handled the case making a tough decision that did not satisfy everyone but says there was communication with the victim.
