No Word On Sandusky Appeal
11/14/2013

Attorney General Kathleen Kane says the Jerry Sandusky court case should be finished.  That there is no new legal arguments to appeal to the State Supreme Court.  That's her response to Sandusky's Attorney now asking that their case be heard by the Supreme Court.  It was just a few weeks ago when the State Superior Court rejected the appeal filed by Sandusky's legal team.  They took their appeal of Sandusky's conviction to the State Supreme Court.  This week the State Attorney Generals Office field a response arguing the Supreme Court shouldn't even hear the appeals because Sandusky Attorney's havent raised what they term special and important reasons for an appeal.  Sandusky's Legal Team continues to argue that his case rushed to trial and their were mistakes made in the jury instruction.  There is no word yet from the Supreme Court if they will hear the appeal.
