No progress after another day of talks between First Energy and its Union.  Its been almost a month since Penelec workers were locked out because the Union could not come to terms with Penelec Spokesman says the last best and final offer is still on the table and that the changes the Union wants to see to the retiree healthcare program are unrealistic.  No word on the next time the two sides will meet....

The K-9 community fund set up help support Johnstown police's K-9 unit.  The community foundation for the Alleghenies working with the Cambria Somerset Labor Management Committee on the fund.  Police say it cost close to 35 thousand dollars to buy and outfit a new vehicle and local businesses including Ameriserv and Laurel Auto Group are stepping into help.  Johnstown police tell us the initiative should support the unit for about 12 years....    

State Police are investigating a robbery at a Cambria County convenience store.  Police say the robber showed the clerk a gun and took off with some cash from the Pit Stop Convenience Store in South Fork around 10:30 Sunday night.  Police are investigating but so far have not released a description of the suspect....
 A man from Clearfield County killed in the Washington Navy Yard shooting is being remembered by his family and friends in a unique way.  Jerry Read's family says he was a heroic decision to save a Colleague's live, but cost him own.  They say the best way to honor his memory is to give an annual scholarship to an eagle scout entering college.
