Thon 2014 raised over 13 million dollars.  By the final four hours there were hundreds of dancers that have laid on these massage tables getting their sore feet rubbed by massage therapists who volunteer their time to be here.  Vinny lost his sister Lauren to cancer in the late nineties.  She was a Four Diamonds Fund child.  Vinny now is part of an organization that supports a Thon child named Tray and on the anniversary of his sister�s death something miraculous happened.  Forty six hours of fighting through the pain, it is special moments like the flash of a smile or big bear hug that make these dancers remember why "step to the beat" matters. 

Police are investigating an armed robbery in Cambria County on Sunday but the suspect accused of pulling the weapon jumped into the river to avoid officers.  It happened in the eleven hundred block of Main Street in Franklin Borough just after five Sunday morning.  The victim called the Police and told them that they were assaulted by a man with a weapon.  The Police said the suspect then jumped into Clapboard Run and tried to take off.  He is in the hospital Sunday night as the Police continue to investigate.  There is no word on what he got away with.... 

Hockey teams from around the area faced off tonight for the Annual Brad Wess Memorial.  Eight teams met on the ice at the War Memorial in Johnstown to play for a good cause.  Wess was a Junior at Forest Hills when he died in a car crash in 2007.  The teams from the PIHL and the Laurel Mountain Leagues combined for about sixty one players to take to the ice.  A Senior could also be given a scholarship as a result of the scholastic showcase....
