With more snow on the way, communities across the region are doing what they can to prepare.
The hardest hit from this latest winter was Somerset County.
A barn along Chickentown road collapsed from the weight of the snow.  Luckily there were no animals inside; it was only being used to store hay. Over the weekend, the National Guard and other volunteers rushed to rescue people on the Somerset Turnpike.
Many people hit the turnpike Friday night hoping to beat the storm. Instead, they were left stranded for about 15 hours.
Area firefighters rode in on snowmobiles to get people to safety. Herring Motors brought in tow trucks and other vehicles to help clear a path.
