President Trump's revised Executive Order on immigration will go into effect Tonight. A hot topic in State College and Penn State. There have been a few meetings about this order. We spoke with Penn State professor who tells me till Tonight at midnight there is a possibility this Executive Order could be stopped. A 90 day ban of new visas for citizens of six predominantly Muslim countries will be enforced. Starting Tonight at midnight. After having his first immigration executive order on January 27 revised last week President Donald Trump plans on having the ban go into effect on March 16. The professor worked in the immigration field for almost 20 years. In 2008 she came to Penn State to start the center for immigration rights at Penn State. She says there are a couple of hearings that are going on Today which could change the order before 12:01 a.m. "Possibly some or all of the executive order could be blocked before implementation depending on what the judges decide. " People are bracing for what is to come. "In any case there will be what I believe chaos and confusion once again when midnight hour strikes. And there are attorneys and advocates who are already on the ground at the airports and in their law offices determining what the next steps are." Citizens of Iraq, Iran, Syria, Libya, Sudan, Yemen and Somalia who are looking to travel to the U.S. Will be effected by this 90 day ban . She told me at a meeting last month at the center for immigration rights, 300 people showed up expressing their concerns. Questions like how will this effect my family and if I travel will I be allowed back in the country. The executive order is one of several executive orders that President Donald Trump wants to have implemented.
