Weeks after a warning was sent to Greek Life organizations another fraternity has been suspended. Sigma Alpha Mu is now being punished for events that allegedly happened on parents weekend. These violations were first described in a letter that was released about a week ago. Now the University is taking action, putting the fraternity under suspension for at least two years. The Vice President for Student Affairs, Damon Sims, says they violated every rule imposed and the behavior is not consistent with the university values. These rules were placed on every sorority and fraternity at the university after the death of Timothy Piazza. If things don't change it would lead to the permanent end of Greek Life at the University.
