Violent Sexual Preditor Captured In Blair County

The search for a fugitive in Blair County is over.

Matthew Fries is currently a wanted man in Ohio and a Megans law sex offender. Police followed up on a tip, and found him living in an Altoona apartment building Wednesday. Fries is facing violent sexual predator charges. He's being held in the Blair County Prison until he is extradited.
