Penn State trustees are meeting to endorse a five-year capital plan. It calls for close to $5 Billion dollars in spending over the next five years. To fix aging buildings and do other construction. On University Park alone, 40% of the buildings are more than 50 years old. The trustees are also looking to remove the name of Gary Schultz from a campus childcare center. Today a committee endorsed that proposal, a full board will vote on Friday, the care center was named after the former vice president of finance in 2011.
