A Cambria County man is in jail and facing charges after police said he sexually assaulted a 23 year old woman. State police in Ebensburg said Russell Kough Jr. of the 300 block of Duman Road in Ebensburg is charged with two felony counts of aggravated indecent assault and two misdemeanor counts of indecent assault. Police said they received a report from a woman at their barracks on September 22nd that she had been sexually assaulted. The woman said she was an employee of Quality Life Services, Inc. in Northern Cambria. She reported she was in the living room of a house in Nicktown on September 21st when Kough picked her up and put her on top of him. According to the criminal complaint police said Kough also put his hands in her shorts and up inside her shirt. Police said the woman showed them a Facebook message in which Kough apologized for his actions. Kough was arraigned Thursday afternoon and is in the Cambria County Prison in lieu of $75,000 bail. A preliminary hearing has been set for 1 p.m. on October 10th.
