A Benner Township man is accused of pointing a handgun at a woman near Beaver Stadium Saturday. According to a criminal complaint, police responded to a reported domestic incident around 5:35 p.m. in parking lot 12 during the Penn State game. A woman told police she and Austin Swanger were at the game earlier. After confronting him about a text he received, the woman said the two left the stadium and walked to their vehicle. The woman told police it was there that Swanger pulled a .357 handgun out of his vehicle in the parking lot and pointed it at her. Police said the woman declined to ride with Swanger after the threat and walked to an area to contact police. Police responded to Swanger's home and took him into custody. A handgun was also seized from the center console of his vehicle. He was arraigned Sunday and charged with misdemeanor counts of terroristic threats, simple assault, reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct. Swanger is in the Centre County Correctional Facility in lieu of 50,000 bail.
