The National Guardsman accused of threatening to kill Vice President Mike Pence will stay in jail until further notice according to his lawyer. At a detention hearing last week the government argued that William Dunbar was too dangerous to be out of jail until a trial. The judge seemed to agree with that argument. A Secret Service agent testified last week that he was told Dunbar has violence and threats of violence in his past. The official also said that Dunbar was barred from having a weapon on the National Guard base in Richland Township because officials were worried he would hurt himself or others. Dunbar's lawyer said he doesn't plan to waive his preliminary hearing which has not yet been scheduled.
