After a severe Mumps out break at Penn State last year, starting Today, the University will placing a registration hold on any student who cannot provide proof of immunization. The hold is to prevent students from scheduling any Spring 2018 courses until their forms are submitted and approved. They say this will be the effect students who are new to the campus. University said students were informed in February followed by several reminders over the past eight months. A final warning said 2 weeks ago. "Our college students tend to be in groups. They are very much connected both academically and outside the classroom. Taking steps, making sure immunizations are current and up-to-date is a major way to prevent infections."
