The Pennsylvania House passed a gambling expansion bill Thursday morning and the bill now heads to Gov. Tom Wolf's desk. The House followed the Senate's lead by passing the measure by a 109-72 vote. The Senate passed the bill Wednesday night 31-19. The bill would allow gambling expansion across the state, including allowing the Commonwealth's larger casinos to bid on satellite casinos, gambling at truck stops and airports and regulate sports betting, online gambling and daily fantasy sports. The gambling expansion bill is part of the budget package and Gov. Wolf press secretary J.J. Abbott said the following "Governor Wolf is going to work over the next few days to evaluate the code bills and gaming expansion on his desk and make decisions on the entirety of them. These bills contain many policy changes and deserve a full vetting and due diligence."
