Two Centre County men face several charges, including assault, after a stabbing incident Sunday. Braiden Lee of Centre Hall is charged with aggravated assault simple assault and recklessly endangering another person. Michael Yearick of Centre Hall is charged with strangulation, simple assault and harassment. According to a criminal complaint state police responded to a reported domestic incident at a house in the 100 block of Back Street in Potter Township. Police said they observed a double edged knife laying near the fish aquarium in the house and saw a nearby window was ajar. Lee told police a dispute had taken place between his parents and that Yearick left the house, then re-entered through a window. Lee said both he and his mom tried to stop Yearick from re-entering. Lee said he grabbed a black knife and stabbed it at Yearick, who suffered a cut hand and punctured wound on his nose near the corner of his left eye. Yearick was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center for treatment. Lee was taken into custody. Both are in the Centre County Correctional Facility. Their preliminary hearings are set for on November 8th.
