After felony charges were re filed last week in a Penn State fraternity hazing case, defense attorneys are asking the judge to allow them more time to file a response. The latest from the defendants that led to the death of pledge Timothy Piazza filed their latest response. Last Friday, Stacy Parks Miller re filed felony charges against 11 of the defendants. Those charges were dismissed during a preliminary hearing. Charges that attorneys maintain were a legal overreach by the prosecutors. "There's no words we can share to extend our sympathy and our heartfelt sorrow about this. But, unfortunately, not every tragedy should result in serious criminal charges." Parks miller filing a 74 page motion asking for a new judge to be assigned to the case if a new hearing results.
