A Blair County man was sentenced to four to eight years in prison Thursday on four felony counts of gun violations. Harry Miller was convicted in August by a jury on the violations. The four convictions stem from charged filed by Martinsburg Borough police in March 2016. Officials said he had eight prior convictions involving drugs and violence, including a felony conviction for dealing drugs, and three protection from abuse petitions were filed against him. As a result, Miller was prohibited from possession firearms in the state. During the August trial, authorities said Miller posted a photo to his Facebook page of himself holding a Sig Sauer 9mm pistol and a private conversation between him and a gun dealer. Officials also said that a fully loaded AR 15 was sitting under Miller's living room window when police executed a search warrant.
