A Johnstown man is facing homicide charges in the death of a woman whose body was found in an alley in the Hornerstown section of the city Sunday. According to a criminal complaint Larry Fason was also charged with aggravated assault. Johnstown police said Angela Lunn's body was found in an alley near the intersection of Bell Alley and Messenger Street. Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees said Lunn's body was found in a trash area in an alley outside an apartment complex shortly before 12:30 p.m. A man told police it looked like Lunn had been beaten and left there. Police said Lunn had no shirt or bra on and that she was covered in a black puffy coat. Police observed lacerations on her and bruising on her upper torso and face area. Lees said she died from a broken neck sustained in an assault. Police said witnesses told them Lunn had been seen many times with Fason. Upon reviewing surveillance video police said Fason was seen throwing two bags into the dumpster in the parking lot across Bell Alley. Officials said the bags contained bloody clothing believed to be from Lunn. Police said that a short time later Fason can be seen on video dragging Lunn's body from the rear porch and placing it in the garbage shelter. It is the ninth homicide in Cambria County this year. Cambria County District Attorney Kelly Callihan and Lees said at a Monday news conference that this is one of the most brutal homicides they've ever seen.
