The Cambria County coroner was called to a shooting in the Hornerstown section of Johnstown Sunday night. According to 911 officials, the coroner and Johnstown police went to the 600 block of Pine Street in Hornerstown after the shooting happened there around 8:30 p.m. Coroner Jeff Lees said the victim was found in Glitch Alley and was pronounced dead of an apparent gunshot wound at the scene at 9:12 p.m. He has yet to be identified. Neighbors said they heard multiple gunshots. "I was at the far window of my house, closer to where the shooting was. I was putting up Christmas decorations and I heard a shot then a pause, then there were three more shots." Johnstown police Capt. Chad Miller said no one is in custody, but that the slaying appears to be an isolated incident. "We're in the early stages of the investigation. My office and police are photographing and processing the scene as well as interviewing people that live close to this incident."
