A Centre County gun club ordered to close by the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources(DCNR). The agency claims the club's use of lead ammunition is bad for the environment but the club is fighting back. They're filing a lawsuit against the DCNR. Officials say this has been an ongoing battle between the Philipsburg Rod and Gun Club and the DCNR for 12 years The club has been given a 90 day deadline to vacate the property, but they say they aren't going down without a fight. The Philipsburg Rod and Gun Club has been in existence for more than 100 years. Members say generation after generation has enjoyed coming together to shoot the sporting clay. Officials say the DCNR gave them until mid-April to leave the property. The DCNR claims the club's use of lead ammunition has contaminated the property and goes against the Federal Mandate.
