A Cambria County woman convicted a few years ago in a DUI crash that killed her husband is now charged with overdosing in front of her four young children. Police say that Misty Petrick's 10-year-old child called 911 in February and told dispatchers that her mother was on the ground. When first responders arrived, Court Records say they found Petrick lying on the floor and all four of her children, ages 2, 4, 6 and 10, only partially clothed. Police say the house was in deplorable condition with garbage and new and used needles lying all around and that's not all. Police say they found four bags filled with several thousand empty stamp bags of heroin. Petrick made headlines in 2013 after a DUI crash that killed her husband. That accident happening just down the road from their house on Emmett Drive. Court records show she pled Guilty in 2015 and was sentenced to two years in prison and 15 months probation. She now faces drug and child endangerment charges.
