Penn State is making some major changes to their Homecoming festivities starting next school year. They are eliminating gender titles for Homecoming King and Queen. Starting this year, there won't necessarily be a Homecoming King or Queen. In the past, there were five females and five male students on the Court. Now, it will be an overall top 10. Penn State is making changes to how Homecoming Courts are selected. In the past, there were a number of ratios of male and female members of the Court. The University is eliminating the longtime gender titles of Homecoming King and Queen. Students at Penn State are reacting to the announcement. The students get a chance to nominate whoever they want this Spring. In the Fall, it comes down to the final choices, and the Court without gender titles will be revealed.
