Grocery Store Fire

A fire broke out Tuesday night at a grocery store in Clearfield County. According to officials, it happened at Holts Grocery in Grampian Borough around 8:30 p.m. Almost a dozen crews were called to help fight the flames. Officials say there was a partial collapse in the back of the building. A bait shop, Da Worm Farm, also suffered damage from the fire, according to dispatch. An initial estimate cost of damage is $500,000. No injuries were reported. Investigators have not said how the fire started, but a state police fire marshal is investigating.
