The Walmart in Altoona was evacuated Sunday night when a bomb threat was called into the store, police said. We were there as police and emergency crews surrounded the building and cleared the parking lot and plaza. Allegheny Township Police said a bomb squad from Centre County searched the store, but didn't find anything. Some customers said they were inside shopping when officials announced over the intercom that everyone needed to evacuate. According to Walmart employees, the store reopened around 3 a.m. Monday. Police continue to investigate.
