One Central Pennsylvania Organization is giving children with disabilities equipment to help them become more active. Around two dozen children from Blair and Cambria County receive more than $30,000 worth of adaptive equipment from the Children's Charity Variety. Some of that equipment includes bikes, strollers, and communication devices specifically made to help children in their condition. We spoke to the mother of one local girl benefiting from the event who says her daughter loves spending time outdoors with her dad, and the equipment she received today will help her do just that. Variety officials say they have helped more than 2,500 children in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
