Former Penn State President Graham Spanier has been ordered to report to prison, according to court documents. In 2017, Spanier was found guilty on a child endangerment charge. He has remained free since then while filing appeals, including a recent one in federal court. Spanier's trial was in Dauphin County. The judge there issued an order that Spanier report to prison by 9 a.m. on May 1. He could serve an expected two months at the Centre County Prison, followed by two months of probation. Spanier's conviction stems from failing to take a 2001 report about alleged child sexual abuse by Jerry Sandusky to police. He has maintained his innocence saying the report only talked about horseplay by Sandusky and didn't mention any abuse.
