An Altoona man is behind bars Monday
for setting an abandoned house on
fire in July, police say.
According to Logan Township police,
officers came across a burning house
on Porta Road July 17.
They say two other locations behind
the house were also on fire.
Police say the power lines along
Porta Road caught fire causing power
outages for nearby homes.
Through their investigation, police
say they found that 41-year-old Michael
Feather was responsible for the blazes
and taken into custody Saturday.
Feather is facing a slew of felony
charges involving arson.
He is being lodged in the Blair County
Prison.
