Officials say the suspension placed on a Penn State fraternity has been lifted after the university completed its investigation into the group following the death of a 17-year-old boy. According to university's alumni adviser, the interim suspension was lifted on Nov. 19. The fraternity had been suspended since Oct. 22 after State College police responded to their off-campus house along W College Avenue for reports of an unresponsive person. Centre County Deputy Coroner Debra A. Smeal said John Schoenig died by asphyxia due to nitrous oxide. The Centre County District Attorney's Office is now reviewing the case, according to county officials.
