School officials in DuBois say students and staff were never in any danger after a threat was made on social media this week against the middle school. School officials say the alleged threat was made on Tuesday. In a statement released , DuBois Area Middle School Principal Darren Hack said that staff had received information regarding an alleged threat made against the middle school. "It is our number one priority to always provide a safe environment for all," Hack said. Hack said the school administration and school police have been in contact with local law enforcement throughout the investigation and at no time were any students or staff members in danger.
