A Lewistown man is facing charges after police say he used a BB gun to try to force a woman to have sex with him. According to a criminal complaint, officers were called Jan 3. to Firehall Road in Gregg Township, Centre County, after reports that Damian Young had a gun and was threatening a woman. Police say they were told that Young and the woman were on their way to a local day care and officers were given a description of the vehicle they were driving. According to the complaint, officers found the vehicle parked at the day care and found Young inside. Police say they discovered that Young had an active parole warrant, and they also found drug paraphernalia on his person. Officers say Young told them he had a BB gun in the vehicle. When police interviewed the woman, she told officers that she was in fear for her life, and Young had threatened her with what she believed was a real gun in an attempt to make her have sex with him, the complaint says. According to the complaint, while holding the gun, Young said, "They are all going to die," so the woman tried to leave with her children, but Young went with her and continued to threaten her. The woman told officers that Young told her to take back roads to the day care and if the cops try to stop them, she was to flee, and that he was going to have a shootout with the cops," the complaint says. Young is facing misdemeanor charges, including simple assault, making terroristic threats, unlawful restraint and false imprisonment.
