Church Services during COVID-19

On Sunday, churches across our region are finding new ways to worship while also trying to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus. We attended one service in Cambria County where parishioners are still coming together to worship, just in a different way. Sunday morning, dozens of cars piled into the parking lot here at Faith Chapel in Geistown where parishioners stayed in their cars and tuned their radio to listen to a drive-in service. Pastor Andrew Taylor says this church is about people and social distancing won't stop them from worshiping. Faith Chapel in Geistown has been around during troubling times over the past 75 years, but today's service was unlike any other. Instead of packing pews inside the church, Parishioners stayed in their cars while listening to the service through their radio. Taylor says they will continue to do these drive-in services on Sunday mornings at 10:15 for the foreseeable future. Faith Chapel also broadcasts their services on their website at www.faithchapel.us
