10 year-old Cory Hall of Ebensburg was diagnosed with t-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma last February. His mom Shannon says his wish was to go to Sanibel Island but with COVID-19, those plans were derailed. T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma is an aggressive form of non-hodgkin lymphoma. Shannon says her son Cory became Make a Wish eligible after his diagnosis. Cory's wish was to go to Sanibel Island in Florida and plans were finalized for them to go in April. But about a week and a half ago, Shannon received news that the trip was postponed. Officials with the Make a wish Foundation say they postponed 61 travel wishes because of the coronavirus. They say it was a tough decision to make but it was the right one, to protect children who are immuno-compromised. "Of course we're disappointed but we're also a bit relieved Even Cory is relieved because he understands how crazy this can end up," said Shannon. Right now, Make a Wish Foundation does not know when they will grant travel wishes.
