Voter ID Halted
10/2/2012

You will not be required to show photo ID when casting your vote in the November election.  That is the decision made by a Pennsylvania Commonwealth Judge who said he was not convinced that voters would not be disenfranchised by the law.  The State Supreme Court handed the case down and told the Judge he needed to hear more information about the necessary ID.  Last week, the Judge heard two days of testimony.  Supporters of the law say that it would prevent voter fraud.  Those against it say it will make it harder for the elderly and the poor to cast their vote.
