Sandusky Sentenced

Jerry Sandusky, the former Penn State football coach convicted of sexually abusing ten boys was sentenced this morning to at least thirty years in prison. For many of the people who call Happy Valley home this day could not come soon enough. It has been almost a full year since Jerry Sandusky was arrested. The story just would not go away. There were so many elements but none more damaging to the soul of the Penn State community then the night the late Joe Paterno was fired.
