A Judge has denied requests for a new trial or a reduced sentence for the Altoona man convicted of killing two men.  Nicholas Horner was found guilty in March of killing Scott Garlick and Raymond Williams while robbing a Subwya Restaurant in 2009. Horner�s Attorney tells the Altoona Mirror the appeal was about being able to introduce an insanity defense.  The Judge says she saw no reason to make her change the verdict.
