After almost one month charges were filed against former Penn State President, Graham Spanier. His lawyer is asking that the charges be dropped. Spanier is facing a number of criminal counts related to the Jerry Sandusky child sex scandal, including lying to a Grand Jury, conspiracy and engendering children. The motion to drop charges argues that prosecutors are using testimony from Cynthia Baldwin, who Spanier thought was representing him, when he testified before the Grand Jury. His attorneys are also asking that his December thirteenth hearing be postponed.
