This week is the 99th Annual ‘Osceola Mills Fireman’s Fair’. It runs through Saturday night this week at the Columbia Volunteer Fire Company Carnival Grounds.
The money raised from this week’s Fair will go to pay for the Columbia Fire Company’s new Engine Rescue Apparatus that was put in service back in November. The Fire Company received Grant money for the Apparatus, but some costs came from the Fire Company’s Budget. The Company had a ‘scaled down’ yet successful Fair last year, but they’re hoping this year is even better.
The Annual Fair started with the Car Show on Sunday, and will wrap up this Saturday night after the 4th of July Parade through Osceola Mills. There is also nightly bingo at 7pm.
On Saturday morning, there will be a Fireman’s Parade as well as a Fireworks Display that evening.
