A volunteer fire company in Allegheny County has had a busy morning of water rescues which included a school bus with passengers caught in a flash flood.
Around 6:50 AM Wednesday morning, Cherry City Volunteer Fire Company was called to a school bus trapped in rising floodwaters on Seavey Rd. in Shaler Twp.
The fire company utilized a boat rescue to reach the 41 passengers stuck on the bus.
All passengers were safely rescued with no injuries were reported.
Crews from Cherry City continue with multiple house rescues in Millvale where creeks have overflowed into residences.
