The City of Altoona is busy putting the final touches on its 9/11 remembrance ceremony.
The event will be held at the Jaffa Mosque.
It’s free to attend but tickets are required.
There are approximately 1200 tickets remaining.
Tickets will be available at the door and those doors open at 6 pm.
The keynote speaker will be Jim O’Bryan who was in the pentagon the morning of the attacks.
“He was the Assistant Undersecretary of State. I mean that every day he worked with Don Rumsfeld and all of those guys. And so to be able to be a friend with him, and work along with him, and evenhave him here in Altoona in the evening if September eleventh is just going to be an honor.”
A special tribute to first responders will take place during the ceremony called the Walk Of Honor.
