Pennsylvania State Police in Huntingdon County investigated a report of Animal Cruelty on Friday in the 1300 Block of Hans Bridge Road in Union Township. Officers arrived to find 4 Beagles and one puppy with frozen water and no straw or bedding inside their huts. Authorities say the temperature at the time was 17 degrees.
The homeowners were in Louisiana and the Caregiver missed checking in on them the day before. Daren Yoder, Martha Yoder, and Amy Bange of Huntingdon County have charges filed against them. The dogs were taken to the Huntingdon County Humane Society.
