Another Spanier Appeal

Former Penn State President Graham Spanier filed another appeal this week in federal court in the case of his child endangerment conviction stemming from the Jerry Sandusky child abuse case.

Spanier was originally convicted on a misdemeanor count and ordered to spend two months in jail.

Prosecutors said he failed to contact police or a child social services agency after finding out about Sandusky.

Last year, a federal judge dismissed Spanier’s conviction, but it was recently reinstated by another court, leading to his latest appeal.
