Hazardous road conditions stemming from wintry weather Sunday, closing down multiple roads and causing several crashes.
According to Cambria County Dispatch. A crash on route 271 by Pickin Chicken in Johnstown was caused by slick roads.
Earlier on Sunday Afternoon, when our crews arrived on scene, officials were shutting the road down and turning drivers away according to a Facebook post by the Southmont Volunteer Fire Company that area has now been reopened.
Officials say another crash on Hershberger Road in Westmont was also caused by slick roads. A car apparently hitting a pole before coming to a stop, there were no injuries reported
