Arrest Made in Fatal State Trooper Accident

State police have identified and charged the woman accused of hitting and killing two troopers and a pedestrian with her vehicle early Monday morning.

According to state police, 21-year-old Jayana Webb has been charged with three counts of third degree murder, three counts of homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence, three counts of homicide by vehicle, two counts of second degree manslaughter of a law enforcement officer, three counts of involuntary manslaughter and other related charges.

Investigators say the Eagleville woman struck and killed all three men with her vehicle on Interstate 95 in Philadelphia just before 1 a.m.

Troopers Martin Mack and Branden Sisca were called to the area after a pedestrian, 28-year-old Reyes Oliveras, was seen walking in the southbound lanes of I-95.

All three men were hit and killed by Webb’s vehicle as the troopers tried to help Oliveras into their cruiser, investigators say.
