The controversy surrounding Bald Eagle Area School Districts mask mandate continues Tonight.
Superintendent Scott Graham says its been a rough few weeks for students and staff regarding the mask wearing.
He says too many students attended without masks and it caused numerous quarantines.
Then the district went back to making all students wear masks as instructed by the Department Of Health but that upset parents.
“We kind of took the route that we were going to try to not be so tough on this to begin with. And it’s turned out that route hasn’t worked.”
Acting Secretary Of Health Alison Beam saying Today there’s absolutely no plans on amending the mask mandate in schools.
