Bald Eagle Area High School wrestling is continuing practices as they prepare for their first tournament next weekend.
The team says they plan on following their tradition of success despite not being able to allow fans at full capacity.
They will be able to have two fans per student athlete for home meets.
Head Coach Ron Guenot says during practices. They have wrestlers in pods of 3 to 4 to try to avoid exposure and everyone is to wear a mask during practices.
“We have a lot of tradition here at bald eagle, and our expectations, we always set the bar high, and we do our best to strive and meet those expectations every year, and that’s what we’re going to try to do again this year.”
School officials say after each practice the wrestling mats are cleanted and sanitized due to safety and cleanliness concerns.
